Yesterday was a dark day in America.
The attack in Arizona should serve as a reminder to all of us that while we may have the right to "freedom of speech", we also have to realize that we need to exercise that right responsibly.

Hope is Never a Bad Thing
As we all look on at the beginning of a new administration in the White House, I'm feeling more hopeful than I've felt in a long time. Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in to the office of President of the United States of America on January 20, 2009.
We all have a choice to make now. We can either look forward with hope or fear. I've lived with fear for long enough, so I choose to look to the future with hopeful eyes.
It's time to put away the pettiness and get down to the business of America. May we start to build a better future for our children.

Yes We Can
I was very honored to cast my vote yesterday afternoon for the office of President of the United States of America. I knew over a year ago that Barack Obama would be the 44th POTUS.
