Dry Spell

Man, I hate these. I seem to have hit yet another dry spell concerning blog posting and Incredimail letter creating.

Every few months I hit this roadblock where I just feel like I have nothing to offer to the readers of my blog and the subscribers to my Incredimail related e-mail groups.

I don't know if it's my occasional depression sneaking up on me again, or if this is just something normal that everyone goes through every couple months.

It could also be that I've used up all my energies to try to battle all my illnesses (mostly just a cold, bronchitis or a slight case of the flu) that I keep getting during the transitioning of the seasons. Hopefully that's it. I'd hate to sink into a depression again right near the holidays.

That's it from me for now, hopefully I'll have something more interesting for you to read in the coming week.

Birthday!

I always get grumpy at the end of the day of my Birthday. As I get closer and closer to the age of 40, the grumpiness begins earlier in the day.

However, I do thank all of you out there in the internets that took the time today to wish me a Happy Birthday! I really appreciate it.

We're All Sickos

Congratulations bronchitis! You've brought my entire household to a standstill.

We're all laying around coughing and wheezing. We all sound and feel like zombies.

I hate the change of seasons in Kansas. It's that special time of year when the leaves change color and all of us here at the house succumb to various degrees of various illnesses. Some of us do nothing but sleep while we're sick, and some of us can't sleep at all. Some of us can only sleep in small increments. It's like we've all turned into grumpy toddlers. We're all whiny, needy children stuck inside and getting on each others nerves.

Yes We Can

I was very honored to cast my vote yesterday afternoon for the office of President of the United States of America. I knew over a year ago that Barack Obama would be the 44th POTUS.

The Snuggie

Is there some vast conspiracy among blankets? Are blankets going to take over the world by not allowing people to use their hands anymore?

Enter The Snuggie (what an unfortunate name for a product). The Snuggie is a blanket with sleeves!!! I tend to think of it more like a bathrobe that you wear backwards.

If you ask me, the Snuggie makes anyone that wears it look like a member of some druidic cult getting ready to go worship at Stonehenge.

For those of you who sleep at night, you may not have been exposed to the ridiculousness that is The Snuggie. So here, for your viewing pleasure is the commercial for the Druid Robe, er I mean The Snuggie!
